The successful candidate will develop programmes for cosmetic and intricate components while contributing to new processes, methods and high quality standards within a progressive programming team. Based onsite in Newry, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with machinists and operatives in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The position provides consistent collaboration with the wider team while allowing an experienced programmer to take ownership of their work and deliver to agreed schedules. The Role: * Develop CNC programmes for cosmetic and intricate components. * Create work instructions and set-up sheets. * Liaise with machinists to improve programmes, finishes and cutting methods. * Support first-time runs and contribute to new processes and methods. * Maintain quality standards and work to agreed lead times. The Person: * Demonstrable CNC programming ability and understanding of machining, work holding and cutting methods. * Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings. * Experience using CAM software such as Hypermill, Mastercam, Catia or NX. * Ability to work independently and support operatives during programme proving. * At least two years of CNC programming experience is desirable. * Experience with Hypermill, fixture design, 3+2 or five axis programming, regulated industries or a broad range of materials would be advantageous.
