We are delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit a Senior HR Consultant to join its growing people consultancy team in Belfast. This permanent opportunity has arisen to support clients across the Greater Belfast area and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused HR professional to develop their consultancy career within a supportive, close knit and fast paced environment.

Working with HR, Health and Safety and Talent Development specialists, the successful candidate will provide practical advice, build trusted client relationships and help organisations create better workplaces.

The Role:

  • Provide practical advice on day to day HR, employee relations and employment matters
  • Help clients improve HR processes, policies, tools and documentation
  • Advise management teams on recruitment, training and people management
  • Support onboarding, appraisals, probation, absence management, employee relations and offboarding
  • Build inclusive, welcoming and values driven workplace cultures
  • Prepare, review and refresh client toolkits and templates
  • Mentor colleagues and support the development of team members

The Person:

  • At least 4 years of HR generalist experience, with applied knowledge of employee relations and legislation
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or willingness to work towards it
  • Strong communication, listening and questioning skills
  • Commercial, consultative and client focused approach
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
  • HR system implementation experience would be advantageous
