Senior Authorised Person – 132kV – 12 Month Contract – UK Travel – Energy Infrastructure – April Start I am currently looking for a 132kV Senior Authorised Person to support a leading IDNO in developing and operating their growing EHV network across the UK. This role goes beyond standard SAP duties and offers the opportunity to play a key part in establishing operational processes, implementing safety rules, and helping build internal operational capability as they expand their EHV infrastructure. Requirements: * Previous authorisations at 132kV as a Senior Authorised Person * Strong experience working with EHV networks (33kV–132kV) * Substation experience at 132kV * Experience with switching, isolations and issuing safety documentation * Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and operational procedures * Experience within DNO or National Grid environments desirable * Ability to mentor engineers and help develop internal operational capability Responsibilities: * Act as Senior Authorised Person for EHV/HV operations * Provide safety from the system * Isolation planning and switching activities * Issue safety documents and permits * Review RAMS * Manage planned and unplanned outages * Inspection of EHV sites * Pre‑energisation readiness checks for ICP built sites * Support development of operational procedures for EHV assets * Provide technical support during fault finding * Mentor and train internal engineers * Ensure compliance with ESQCR / VSQCR * Support approval of newly constructed EHV sites before energisation Logistics: * April start * 12 month contract * Travel across UK sites (Kent, Swindon, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, London, Nottingham) * Day rate, outside IR35 * 39 hour week with additional overtime opportunities
