Hunter Philips is currently supporting a renewable energy developer in the delivery of a large-scale onshore wind project in Scotland. The project is a 100MW+ onshore wind farm located in Ayrshire, South Scotland, with construction expected to begin in June and run through to 2028.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day construction activities on a large-scale onshore wind project
- Oversee and coordinate principal contractors responsible for turbine supply (TSA) and balance of plant (BOP) works
- Ensure compliance with project HSE standards and quality requirements
- Monitor programme progress and ensure works are delivered in line with schedule
- Coordinate with the Owner’s Engineer and key project stakeholders
- Provide site leadership and ensure safe and efficient delivery of construction works
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager delivering onshore wind construction projects
- Strong knowledge of wind farm construction, including civils, electrical infrastructure and turbine installation
- Experience managing large contractors and multiple work packages on site
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
