This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the commissioning of a new traction substation, supporting the delivery of critical rail infrastructure.
The successful engineer will be involved in the commissioning of the 132k V substation, including the 132/25k V traction transformer and associated primary plant and protection systems.

Responsibilities: Commissioning of a 132k V rail traction substation and associated equipment.
Commissioning and testing of the 132/25k V traction transformer, primary plant and protection & control systems.
Carrying out functional testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and energisation activities.
Working closely with the client, engineering and commissioning teams to ensure safe and successful project delivery.
Completing commissioning documentation, test records and site reports.
Requirements: Proven experience commissioning 132k V substations.
Experience commissioning power transformers, protection systems and associated primary plant.
SPEN authorisations are advantageous but not essential.
Previous rail or traction substation commissioning experience would be highly beneficial.
Available to start ASAP.
