11kV–33kV Senior Authorised Person - Private Networks / Utilities – Wales - Monday–Friday - Day rate, outside IR35 - Overtime & Standby Available.
I’m working closely with a well established contractor and private networks business who are looking to bring experienced 11kV–33kV SAPs on board to support maintenance, upgrades and new installations across their controlled networks. This is a site based SAP role where you are responsible for scheduling, switching and ensuring Safety from the System at all times.
The work:
- Maintenance and new electrical installations
- Asset replacement (transformers, switchgear, cables)
- Network upgrades and reinforcement
- Testing, termination and final connections onto the network
- Acting as SAP on private networks
- Voltage range is up to 33kV, predominantly 11kV.
Requirements:
- 11kV–33kV Senior Authorised Person experience
- Private network or DNO SAP experience essential
- DNO authorisations (SSEN / SSE Networks preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of SFTS
- Comfortable working autonomously as site SAP
Logistics:
- Monday to Friday
- Wales (specific locations to be confirmed)
- 9-hour days
- Weekend work available
- Standby duties and cover
- Call our rota
- Overtime rates
- 6 to 12 month contracts
