11kV–33kV Senior Authorised Person - Private Networks / Utilities – Wales - Monday–Friday - Day rate, outside IR35 - Overtime & Standby Available.

I’m working closely with a well established contractor and private networks business who are looking to bring experienced 11kV–33kV SAPs on board to support maintenance, upgrades and new installations across their controlled networks. This is a site based SAP role where you are responsible for scheduling, switching and ensuring Safety from the System at all times.

The work:

  • Maintenance and new electrical installations
  • Asset replacement (transformers, switchgear, cables)
  • Network upgrades and reinforcement
  • Testing, termination and final connections onto the network
  • Acting as SAP on private networks
  • Voltage range is up to 33kV, predominantly 11kV.

Requirements:

  • 11kV–33kV Senior Authorised Person experience
  • Private network or DNO SAP experience essential
  • DNO authorisations (SSEN / SSE Networks preferred but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of SFTS
  • Comfortable working autonomously as site SAP

Logistics:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Wales (specific locations to be confirmed)
  • 9-hour days
  • Weekend work available
  • Standby duties and cover
  • Call our rota
  • Overtime rates
  • 6 to 12 month contracts
