The predicted salary is between 40000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

We’re seeking skilled freelancers for long-term contracts delivering commissioning & troubleshooting on utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects across the UK β€” including BESS, EV charging infrastructure, and solar farms.

Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of LV and HV systems across BESS and PV installations
  • Functional testing of PCS/inverters, BMS, and SCADA integration
  • Hands-on AC/DC wiring checks, cable terminations, and fault-finding
  • Support FAT/SAT procedures and assist with G99/G100 testing
  • Coordination with OEM engineers and on-site EPCs
  • Travel to various UK project sites (expenses covered where applicable)

Requirements:

  • Proven commissioning experience on BESS and/or PV systems
  • Qualified electrician / electrical background
  • Competent with inverter systems, DC string wiring, and site energisation
  • 18th Edition (or equivalent), ECS/CSCS required
  • Experience with OEMs like Fluence, Tesla, Sungrow, SMA is a bonus
  • Willingness to travel and stay away on a rota basis
