I am looking for a 33kV Senior Authorised Person. You will be responsible for Safety from the System, outage planning and vegetation management.

Requirements

  • Previous authorisations up to 33kV as a Senior Authorised Person under SSEN
  • Solid understanding of Electrical Safety
  • Experience and understanding of distribution and OHL
  • Must have full UK driver license and own vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safety from the system
  • Planning outages and arranging works for Overhead Linesmen and other contractors
  • Issue safety documents and permits
  • Project managing and planning the tree outages/cutting
  • Adhering to safety regulations ensuring supply, quality and continuity
  • Cancellation of safety documents when works complete
  • Operate compliantly under the client’s safety rules
  • Issue limitation of access documents
  • Switching up to and including 33kV
  • Writing and then implementing switching schedules
  • Assist with storm duties when required

Logistics

  • ASAP start date
  • Day rate, outside IR35
  • Monday – Friday (weekend work on a pre-planned basis)
  • 12 month contract (potential extensions)
  • Multiple locations in and around London
