A renewable energy contractor is looking to engage a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a large scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East. The role will play a critical part in ensuring quality assurance, structured documentation and compliance throughout the construction and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee QA/QC processes across the BESS installation.
  • Conduct inspections, audits and verification of works.
  • Manage ITPs, test records, NCRs and quality documentation.
  • Support the project team with structured quality control and handover deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and assist with final documentation packages.
  • Work closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams to maintain quality discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in QA/QC roles on BESS, HV/LV, Solar PV or other energy infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of installation quality requirements and structured documentation.
  • Ability to manage ITPs, audit processes and quality reporting.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident working in a dynamic, fast-moving project environment.
