A renewable energy contractor is looking to engage a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a large scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East. The role will play a critical part in ensuring quality assurance, structured documentation and compliance throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee QA/QC processes across the BESS installation.
- Conduct inspections, audits and verification of works.
- Manage ITPs, test records, NCRs and quality documentation.
- Support the project team with structured quality control and handover deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with project standards and assist with final documentation packages.
- Work closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams to maintain quality discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in QA/QC roles on BESS, HV/LV, Solar PV or other energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of installation quality requirements and structured documentation.
- Ability to manage ITPs, audit processes and quality reporting.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Confident working in a dynamic, fast-moving project environment.
