OHL Project Manager – Distribution – Day rate outside IR35 – Wales – ASAP Start – 12 month contract
Hunter Philips is supporting our client in the search for an OHL Project Manager to deliver overhead line rebuild and refurbishment schemes across Wales. You must have OHL experience to be considered.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering LV–33 kV overhead line rebuild/refurbishment projects
- Must have distribution experience
- Strong knowledge of wood-pole construction, reconductoring, outages, access planning and temporary works
- Background in contract administration and supply chain management
- Demonstrable safety leadership on high-risk construction activities
- IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum. NEBOSH IS desirable
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects end to end: design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver on safety, quality, cost and progarmme
- Oversee key works including pole/stay replacements, pole top refurbishments, earthing upgrades and route diversions
- Control budgets, risk and schedule.
- Issue clear progress reports
- Ensure SHEQ compliance with robust RAMS, audits, incident investigations and corrective actions
- Act as main point of contact for stakeholders including landowners, local authorities and communities
Logistics:
- Day rate, outside IR35
- ASAP start with ongoing project pipeline
- Field/office hybrid across Wales
- Monday – Friday
- 12 month contract
