The Company
A leading Renewable Energy organisation with a significant pipeline of offshore projects to build across the UK/European region. The recent announcement of contracts has led to further expansion and investment to grow their team with the organisation looking to secure a Project Director - HVDC to oversee the offshore wind EPC contracts of one of their exciting offshore assignments.
The Role
- Oversee the development, construction and delivery of a Megaproject worth up to £2B
- Lead and manage the project organisation including Project managers, Site Managers and Engineering Managers
- Support negotiation of contracts and choose sub-contractors
- Develop and implement safety of sites and workers including risk assessments and method statements
- Lead and manage sub-contractors
- Prepare and provide site progress reports and reporting to executive leadership (Vice President)
The Person
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical
- Experience overseeing a large project (£500M+) from cradle to grave - Offshore Wind Energy, Civil, Rail etc
- Prior management of 15+ direct reports
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
