Project Development Manager/ Project Developer – Battery Energy Storage – Renewable Energy – Remote Working – 6 month Contract

We are working with a leading Renewable Energy Developer, who are looking for an experienced Project Development Manager to hit the ground running and support the delivery of a 500MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in London.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support to the Project Director (not leading the project).
  • Identify and de-risk key project blockers
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and support functions to ensure the project is sales-ready by the end of the year.
  • Contribute technical input to grid discussions and development activities.
  • Help drive documentation, compliance, and commercial preparedness for project transition.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders where needed.

Skills And Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Development Manager in BESS
  • Someone with extensive experience dealing with land rights, ground investigation surveys, grid planning (MODAPs etc), and sales preparation would be highly valuable.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with limited supervision, while reporting into a Project Director.
  • Commercially aware, with a technical mindset – ideally with a background in Electrical Engineering.
  • Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications

  • Contract Duration: 6 months
