SR163/TP137 Site Manager – Essex & London – England, United Kingdom – National Grid Substation Project – Long Term Contract

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced TP137/SR163 Site Manager to oversee substation projects across Essex and London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in Electrical Protection & Control Installation, and experience liaising with National Grid, subcontractors, and third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead site operations, ensuring the projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with industry standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with National Grid, subcontractors and third parties to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain all necessary site documentation, including Lifting & Access Plans, RAMs and ensure strict health & safety adherence.
  • Monitor and assess subcontractor performance, conduct regular site inspections and implement best practices.
  • Provide detailed project updates, highlighting key milestones, challenges and resource requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven site management experience in transmission & distribution projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • Experience working with National Grid and large-scale infrastructure projects.
