The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

We are currently supporting a leading EPC contractor in the renewable energy sector who are delivering two major BESS grid connection projects in South East England & East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the electrical installation works on-site for BOP packages (HV cabling, protection & control, substation works).
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with the internal commissioning team to prepare for handover.
  • Contribute to constraint management and ensure timelines are met.
  • Participate in scope reviews, programming of work packages, and resolution of design issues.
  • Liaise daily with HSE Site Manager, Civils Project Engineer, and Commissioning Engineers to ensure seamless site coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, and technical standards throughout the delivery phase.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in electrical site supervision or superintendent roles within large-scale infrastructure, utilities, or energy projects.
  • Proven experience managing on-site electrical installation activities (substation builds, HV cable works, or related BOP packages).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills; able to manage subcontractors and resolve issues independently.
  • Background in either utilities or construction – BESS experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional site teams.
