66kV Control Engineer – 12 Month Contract – Offshore Wind Farm – outside IR35 – Summer start

We are currently looking for an experienced 66kV Control Engineer to support operations on an offshore wind farm project. You will be responsible for controlling, coordinating and authorising HV switching activities on the 66kV offshore and onshore network, ensuring SFTS is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and authorise 66kV switching, isolations and restorations
  • Control and coordinate offshore and onshore HV activities
  • Produce, review and manage switching schedules and control logs
  • Interface with SAPs, offshore technicians and control room personnel
  • Support commissioning, outage planning and fault response

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Control Engineer on 66kV networks
  • Offshore wind, renewables or marine HV experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HV safety rules and control room procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple work scopes in a live operational environment

Logistics;

  • Night shift rota
  • 12 month contract
  • Day rate, outside IR35
  • Summer start date (maybe sooner)
