The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
The role is hands-on and the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day Health and Safety management of the site teams and be able to implement the Quality Assurance practices of the company. They will report to the Project Manager regularly on progress of the works and ideally already be in possession of an SSSTS or an SMSTS qualification.
An ability to demonstrate problem solving skills at construction stage and a broad and detailed knowledge of construction techniques will be required of successful candidates. They will be able to demonstrate experience in effectively managing staff of all levels and be able to integrate into and develop around them a dynamic team.
They will have a general understanding of engineering, drainage and construction methods and must have experience of setting out from given datums and managing sub-contractors on a day to day basis. They will be required to ensure that all projects are resourced appropriately with labour and materials. An understanding of horticulture is beneficial.
