They’re now looking for a Trainee People Advisor to join our award-winning People Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in Employee Relations. You'll be supported by experienced HR professionals and given the opportunity to build your knowledge, confidence and skills in a busy and rewarding environment. The Role As a Trainee People Advisor, you'll play an important role in supporting managers and team members across the business while developing your knowledge of HR and employee relations. Working closely with the Head of People, Director of People and wider People Team, you'll provide administrative and operational support across a range of employee relations activities, gaining exposure to disciplinary, grievance, absence management, wellbeing and performance processes. You'll help ensure our people processes are compliant, organised and delivered in line with best practice, while contributing to the positive employee experience that makes a great place to work. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, keen to learn and looking to establish a long-term career in HR. Day to day, you will: * Support the People Team with a variety of employee relations and HR administration activities. * Assist with preparing employee relations documentation, letters, meeting invitations and reports. * Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems. * Support the administration and coordination of employee relations cases. * Attend meetings to take notes and support People Team colleagues. * Respond to routine people-related queries from managers and team members. * Support onboarding and employee lifecycle administration. * Assist with maintaining and reviewing People Team policies, procedures and templates. * Ensure all records are maintained in line with GDPR requirements. * Support employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives. * Help prepare people-related reports and management information. * Build positive working relationships across the business. * Support the delivery of the People Strategy and team culture initiatives. * Undertake relevant training and development to build your HR knowledge and skills. * Act as a positive ambassador for both the People Team and group.
