Our client, an operational engineering organisation, is recruiting for an Engineering Administrator to ensure the efficient operation of engineering activities. Providing essential administrative support across a varied range of maintenance, compliance, project and operational activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and building strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the engineering management, engineering teams and projects teams
- Maintain engineering records, asset documentation, project files and controlled documents
- Administer engineering procedures, work instructions, forms and document control systems
- Keeping compliance records of third-party inspection programmes
- Obtain quotations and booking equipment hire and accommodation requirements
- Manage the vehicle booking system, preparing timesheets, general administration.
The Successful Individual:
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role within a technical, engineering or operational environment is desirable
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working with business systems and databases
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to take ownership of tasks and projects
- Customer-focused with a positive approach to work
