We are proud to be working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation with their search for an HGV Technician to be based at the prestigious site in Chesterfield.
What does the role involve?
- Carry out inspection, service, maintenance and repair of a range of vehicles within the fleet.
- Diagnostic and rectification work on faults on HGV Vehicles.
- Carrying out MOT preparation work with the vehicles on site.
- Ensure that all work is carried out to set company standards and deadlines.
- Liaise with other departments if required such as Parts.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
Your Experience
- Technical qualification such as City & Guilds / Irtec accredited or equivalent.
- If the candidate possesses a HGV Driving licence that would be ideal but not necessary.
- Relevant HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle experience.
