Are you a technically minded professional with a passion for building client relationships and driving growth? We’re looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer who can combine engineering insight with commercial drive to help us grow our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new business opportunities within the aerospace and industrial sectors.
- Work closely with clients to understand technical needs and propose/quote appropriate acoustic solutions.
- Prepare/deliver proposals and bids.
- Where needed, attend trade shows, industry events, and client site visits to promote our capabilities.
- Maintain and grow key accounts through regular communication and solution updates.
- Collaborate with engineering/project management teams to ensure project feasibility and accurate scoping.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business strategy.
Requirements
- Experience in technical sales, business development, or customer-facing engineering roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter attitude with commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events (UK and international).
Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:15pm and Friday 8:30am to 1:00pm. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. After 5 years of service, holiday will increase to 30 days plus bank holidays. Must be a UK Resident and have the right to work in the UK. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent circa £35,000.00 per year DOE.
