We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead, develop, and grow our HVAC project sales across the Northern region. This is a strategic leadership role combining personal sales responsibility with active management of a regional sales team.
You will represent a comprehensive portfolio including:
- Liquid chillers
- Heat pumps
- Fan coil units
- Air handling units (AHUs)
- Split systems
- VRF systems
- Heat recovery equipment
As Regional Sales Manager – North, you will take full ownership of regional performance, driving both revenue growth and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set direction, mentor your team, and personally engage in high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the Northern region
- Deliver regional sales targets and margin objectives
- Secure product specification with M&E consultants
- Build strong relationships with main contractors, HVAC contractors, installers, and end users
- Personally manage key accounts and major projects
- Oversee project tracking from design stage through to order and delivery
- Lead commercial negotiations on high-value opportunities
- Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline reporting
Team Management & Development
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers / Sales Engineers
- Set clear KPIs and performance objectives
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and field coaching days
- Support the team in securing specifications and closing key deals
- Identify training and development needs
- Recruit and onboard new team members as required
- Drive a high-performance, accountable sales culture
- Ensure CRM compliance and structured pipeline management across the team
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with internal technical, estimating, and operations teams
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to project delivery
- Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback
- Contribute to national sales strategy and product positioning
About You
We are looking for a commercially driven HVAC professional with proven leadership experience. You will have:
- Strong experience in HVAC project sales
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing a sales team preferable but we will consider a high performing sales professional looking for a step up
- Experience selling into consultants and contractors
- An established network across the Northern construction market
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on delivery
You will be comfortable balancing personal sales responsibility with regional leadership.
