We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to grow sales of our formwork and falsework solutions across commercial construction projects, including schools, restaurants, leisure centres, hotels, and apartment blocks. This role is focused on selling directly to contractors, developing long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities from early enquiry through to project completion.

The Role

  • Manage and develop a defined sales territory
  • Sell formwork and falsework solutions to main contractors and key sub-contractors
  • Identify new project opportunities and convert leads into orders
  • Build strong relationships with site teams, buyers, and decision-makers
  • Provide technical and commercial input to support bids and tenders
  • Work closely with internal design, engineering, and operations teams
  • Track market activity, competitor movements, and upcoming projects
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and margin objectives

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in construction sales, ideally formwork, falsework, scaffolding, temporary works, or structural systems
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction projects
  • Experience selling to contractors is essential
  • Confident relationship builder with excellent communication skills
  • Commercially aware and results-driven
  • Able to manage a sales territory independently
  • Full UK driving licence
