Junior Operations Manager LONDON BASED

Working in the SPORTS EVENTS MARKET

You will be responsible for managing a range of international and routine business Summits, Market Visits and networking events.

The business support is for 3 communities:

· Expert or new to market multi-sector companies seeking to engage with Rights Holders and LOCs.

· Sports Property owners tasking the company to find hosts for their sports properties and connect them to the wider community.

· Destinations (Countries, Cities and Venues) seeking to host sports events and leverage relationships and assets Operation Delivery:

The company currently runs 2 x annual Summits as major milestones to bring this community together. One is in Switzerland and one is in UK. They are complex multi-component tasks requiring significant planning, detailed coordination and liaison prior to delivery.

Regional Summits are new and in 2025 will start to mobilise. These will be less complex but given their international nature and the potential to run up to 3 concurrently. · Festival of Sport is a maturing, yet to be deployed, initiative. It has the potential to run concurrently with Regional Summits. · Overseas market visits are opportunities to engage with future Host Local Organising Committees and see sports events in action.

Routine networking events in sector groups are a powerful approach to support the company\’s Community.

You will be a key member of the team managing the tasks above and grow in full ownership with experience of many of the tasks above.

Attention to detail and ability to multi task.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Energy, enthusiasm and drive seeking to go beyond core responsibilities to support this growth phase and for personal development.

Summary of the Role:

1. Day to day management of the tasks above. 2. Clear visibility of the status of all tasks and cross team coordination. 3. External liaison with the range of delivery partners and key support agencies. 4. Support to first step financial matters: Raise invoices, simple reconciliation of payments received all supported by a highly experienced Book keeper and with proper induction. 5. Some limited support to travel planning. 6. Support to oversight of the company\’s master plan for a rolling 12 months to deconflict activities and ensure staff are allocated to tasks.

£30,000 +DOE
