Are you a commercially driven specification sales professional with experience selling into architects, specifiers, and façade consultants? Do you thrive on developing relationships, influencing project specifications, and winning high-value commercial projects? We are looking for an ambitious and technically credible Architectural Specification Sales Manager to drive specification sales growth across London and the South East for a market-leading cladding and façade solutions business.
The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of high-performance cladding and façade systems to architects, specifiers, developers, and main contractors across the region. You will focus on securing product specifications on commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with architects, specifiers, façade consultants, and key contractors
- Secure specifications for cladding and façade systems on major projects
- Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and product demonstrations
- Identify and track project opportunities through the specification cycle
- Work closely with contractors and installers to convert specifications into orders
- Maintain a strong pipeline and manage activity through CRM systems
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to support project delivery and brand growth
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
About You
- Proven experience in specification sales within related construction products
- Strong network within architectural practices and the specification community in London and the South East
- Technically minded with the ability to discuss compliance, performance, and design solutions confidently
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing a large territory
- Full UK driving licence
