We're looking for a
Technical Sales Engineer to develop relationships and provide cutting-tool solutions to customers across the aerospace and automotive sectors .
This is a genuinely consultative role.
You'll be working closely with production and manufacturing teams to understand machining challenges, identify opportunities to improve productivity and recommend the right tooling solutions.
The Role
You'll become a technical expert on the company's cutting-tool range and work directly with customers to:
- Develop and grow relationships with aerospace and automotive manufacturers
- Identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts
- Visit customers on-site to understand their machining and production requirements
- Work with production, manufacturing and engineering teams to identify tooling challenges
- Recommend technically appropriate cutting-tool solutions
- Carry out trials and support customers with tooling implementation
- Demonstrate how tooling solutions can improve productivity, tool life, cycle times and overall manufacturing efficiency
- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support
- Prepare quotations and follow opportunities through to completion
- Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams
- Build long-term relationships rather than simply selling a product
