We are seeking an expert midwife to take a lead role in driving strategic initiatives and delivering safe, personalised maternity care across all clinical settings in Gloucestershire. This highly autonomous role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of maternity services, ensuring care is centred on women, birthing people and their families, and grounded in choice, compassion and evidence-based practice.
As Consultant Midwife, you will provide professional leadership and role modelling in best practice, supporting midwives to reach their full potential as autonomous practitioners. You will play a key part in developing and implementing the vision and strategy for maternity services, promoting professional standards, advancing scope of practice, and fostering clinically curious, research-informed midwives.
