JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Central London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

  • Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

  • Schedule: Saturdays!

What You’ll Be Doing:Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and make a real difference in the lives of children and their families. This role includes:

  • Performing holistic assessments of children’s needs

  • Creating and implementing individualised, evidence-based intervention plans

  • Supporting children in areas such as:

    • Sensory processing & modulation

    • Postural control & balance

    • Motor planning & coordination

    • Gross & fine motor skills

    • Handwriting and school-based skills

    • Play development

    • Behavioural organisation

    • Functional participation in daily activities

  • Collaborating closely with families, schools, and multi-disciplinary teams

  • Maintaining clear and accurate clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current and valid HCPC registration

  • Experience working with children across a range of developmental, sensory, and behavioural needs

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Commitment to high-quality, child-centred care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers flexibility with weekday availability. The contract is ongoing with strong potential for extension depending on performance and service demand.
