Are you a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling permanent role in Central London? What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, the Occupational Therapist will play a vital part in helping children and young people (ages 0–18) with a wide range of needs—physical, developmental, social communication, and specific difficulties—engage in meaningful daily activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive, child-centred assessments
- Developing and delivering individualised, evidence-based intervention plans
- Supporting families and carers through tailored advice and strategies
- Collaborating with education, health and social care professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to service development initiatives and continuous quality improvement
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid HCPC registration
- Proven experience in paediatric occupational therapy
- Knowledge of a range of therapeutic approaches relevant to childhood development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A commitment to supporting children in achieving functional, meaningful outcomes
Working Pattern
