Are you a Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Hereford? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

  • Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

  • Location: Hereford – GP Surgery

  • Duration: 3–6 month contract

  • Schedule: 5 days per week (full-time)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting safe and effective medicines use in primary care. In this role, you will:

  • Support repeat prescription management and medicines reconciliation.

  • Carry out audits and quality improvement work to enhance patient safety.

  • Provide medicines optimisation support for patients with long-term conditions.

  • Work closely with GPs, pharmacists, nurses and other staff to improve prescribing practices.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

  • Previous experience in a GP surgery, PCN or primary care setting (desirable).

  • Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.

  • The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum role (5 days per week) on an initial 3–6 month contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
