Rate of Pay: £17-18ph (Based on experience)
What You’ll Be Doing:
The role of the Criminal Justice recovery worker will mainly support people coming through our prison link service as well as other areas of criminal justice involvement including courts and probation. This role includes one-to-one key work, delivering our group work programmes, case management and interacting with partner agencies, particularly prisons, police, probation and courts, to ensure people accessing Spectrum can improve and change their lives.
About you:
- Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and/or experience of working within a similar field
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position and requires availability from Monday to Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
