Locum Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse – High Pay, Flexible Contract in Liverpool!

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care in a community mental health setting. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload, conducting assessments, developing and implementing personalised care plans, and administering medications while monitoring treatment effectiveness. You will also work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to provide crisis intervention, risk management, and safeguarding support.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN). Early intervention experience is needed. Strong clinical assessment, risk management, along with experience working within a multidisciplinary team, are essential. Sound knowledge of the Care Programme Approach (CPA), safeguarding policies, and mental health legislation is also required.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position, requiring full-time availability. The contract is initially for 3-6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
