Are you a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber looking for a rewarding locum role in South London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
• Job Title: Pharmacist Independent Prescriber – GP Surgery based• Duration: August 2025 – March 2026• Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (must be on-site at least 2+ days/week) hybrid working an option!! 2 days per week WFH optional!• Start Date: August 2025• End Date: March 2026• Rate of Pay: £28 – £34 per hour (DOE)• Contact: Alex Roberts – –
What You’ll Be Doing:Join our client's team as a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and support high-quality clinical care within a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will:

run patient-facing clinics, particularly for chronic disease management

reconcile Dotman letters and implement medication changes
-
monitor patient medication and carry out safety checks
-
prepare repeat prescriptions for GP approval
-
ensure timely reviews and follow-up appointments

contribute to prescribing and administrative duties within the clinical team
Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

GPhC registration as an Independent Prescriber

experience working in GP surgeries
-
strong clinical skills in chronic disease management

confidence handling prescribing/admin responsibilities

availability for on-site work at least 2 days/week
Working Hours & Contract Duration:This flexible locum role offers working hours of either 9am – 5pm or 8am – 4pm (with 30 mins unpaid lunch), with part-time or full-time options available. The contract runs from August 2025 to March 2026 with strong potential for extension.
