A Day in the Life of a CPN:
Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse working within a dynamic Crisis Team. This exciting role is ideal for professionals with psychiatric liaison or urgent mental health care experience. Your core responsibilities include:
- Conducting urgent mental health assessments in community and hospital settings
- Delivering crisis interventions, safety planning, and risk management
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate safe discharges
- Managing a caseload of service users in acute psychological distress
- Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
- Essential: Experience working in psychiatric liaison or mental health crisis services

- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota with long shifts
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a full-time role offering long-day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) across Monday to Sunday. The contract is initially for 3 months ongoing, with a strong potential for extension based on service requirements.
