Locum Acute Occupational Therapist (Band 6) – High Pay, Flexible Contract in London!

Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Central London? We have an exciting opportunity within a busy acute medical and respiratory ward, offering excellent pay and flexible working arrangements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist and play a crucial role in supporting patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will:

  • Carry out comprehensive assessments for patients with acute medical and respiratory conditions

  • Develop and implement tailored care plans to support discharge planning and functional recovery

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions in collaboration with the wider MDT

  • Contribute to safe, timely patient flow and continuity of care

  • Maintain accurate, professional clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration

  • Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting, ideally within medical or respiratory wards

  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

  • A proactive and patient-focused approach to care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This flexible locum position requires availability Monday to Friday. The role is ongoing, with strong potential for extension based on service requirements and performance.
