What You’ll Be Doing
Join the trauma and orthopaedics team in Yeovil as a Plaster Technician, where you will:

Apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and orthopaedic devices

Support consultants, nurses, and physiotherapists during fracture clinics
-
Provide wound care and dressing changes under clinical guidance
-
Educate patients and families on cast care and safe mobility
-
Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
-
A recognised plaster technician qualification/training (BOA/BSCOS preferred)
-
Experience working in fracture clinics or trauma & orthopaedics
-
Strong patient care and communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively as part of an MDT

A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care
Working Hours & Contract Duration
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, for an initial 3-month contract with strong potential for extension.
