Non Executive Director - Legal AI Solutions - City of London £20k-25k per annum + possible equity (based on 2 days commitment per month) The opportunity: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Non-Executive Director to join our client\'s Board and Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will provide governance, strategic insight, and support with private equity fundraising as the business expands. The role is expected to require a commitment of approximately 2 days per month. The company: The business is a leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovator in the legal sector, collaborating with law firms, barristers chambers, and legal counsel within major corporate and financial sectors. Having secured second-stage funding and successfully launched a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) into the market, the company has conducted pilot programs with prestigious \'magic circle\' law firms and corporate clients. It is now in the process of developing a comprehensive suite of AI solutions for legal applications. This rapidly growing enterprise is backed by a team of experienced private equity investors, with plans to enhance business operations, diversify the product line, and expand into new international markets. The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong and ethical leadership as the Non-Executive Director of the Board. They will also have the capability to lead the governance committee to ensure compliance with FCA, Law Society and related corporate regulations. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in leadership within a rapidly growing SME, preferably in a professional, private equity, legal or financial services setting. Previous experience as a Non-Executive Director is preferred but not required.
