We are delighted to be asked to recruit a Chief Executive Officer for a scaling up MedTech (Medical Technology) sector business based in Cambridgeshire. The business has been established in the past 5 years and has achieved significant success so far by providing very innovative new technologies into the healthcare market. The business has developed strong links with the NHS, Nuffield Health and other healthcare providers within the UK, and following further investment by private equity investors, now has the potential to take the product offering international.
The owners of the business wish to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to drive forward the commercialisation of the business and position it as a disruptive innovator in healthcare services. The successfully appointed Chief Executive Officer will be required to develop the strategic direction of the business for the UK, as well as identifying and developing potential international strategic partners to support the commercialisation of the business globally.
The Chief Executive Officer will need to be a pragmatic and charismatic leader, ideally with experience in progressing an early stage business through to market leadership. We seek a Chief Executive Officer with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, a gifted communicator able to present at the highest level, with well-developed emotional intelligence in being able to develop and grow a team across the business. The Chief Executive Officer will be ably supported by an enthusiastic and highly qualified leadership team, including a Medical Officer, a Sales Director and a Chief Financial Officer.
