Do you have a passion for building relationships and sales development? We’re seeking a Regional Sales Manager, International for our company’s sales program for a geographic region within Europe. The Regional Sales Manager, International is a key position which reports to Hunter’s Vice President, International. This position is that of an independent contractor and not as an employee of Hunter Engineering Company.

Experience as a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of accomplishment. Ability to train and mentor dynamic sales & service team to achieve exponential growth. Bachelor’s degree preferred; Sales leadership experience required.

As a Regional Sales Manager, International:

  • Own a specific international territory with the objective of optimizing sales and growing market share.
  • Identify industry distribution networks to increase brand growth in each market.
  • Develop close, cooperative relationships with key accounts, national accounts, OEMs, and other areas identified as growth opportunities.
  • Investigate and analyze competitive activity within assigned region to include the study and reporting of pricing and promotion practices.
  • Achieve a pre-determined sales quota while maintaining and supporting after sales efforts of current end users through third-party distribution partners.
  • Assist in the training, motivating, and leading a dynamic sales and service team to consistently achieve growth in sales volume and market penetration, while maintaining a high level of timely, accurate, and professional service.
  • Evaluate sales promotion programs and evaluate and relay effectiveness, reception and any updates needed.
  • Assist third-party distribution partners with sales strategies, sales results, leads and opportunities in the form of ROI presentations, demonstration activities and other proven brand techniques.
  • Work as a liaison between Product Management, Marketing, Accounting, and other departments as necessary; coordinate country and partner information.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Sales leadership experience required.
  • Capital sales experience required, preferably in the automotive aftermarket segment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with proven track record in international sales and account growth.
  • Multilingual ability preferred; (English and either Spanish, Italian or French).
  • Driven and ambitious change agent dedicated to continuous business improvement.
  • Hunter brand experience preferred.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and strong ability to understand customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both oral and written.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce software.
  • Must be eligible to work and live in one of the market countries.
  • Frequent international travel required.
