We are urgently seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Inclusive Learning Support for a permanent role at a well-established College in the North West London area. This is a key leadership position focused on ensuring that SEND learners receive the support they need to develop independence, life skills, achieve qualifications, and successfully complete their courses or transition into employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director to oversee and improve the College's SEND provision.
  • Lead and manage a team of Learning Support staff to deliver high-quality support.
  • Coordinate support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Oversee and manage additional support funding, and act as the College's SENCO.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SEN within Further Education.
  • In-depth knowledge of the 2014 SEN Code of Practice.
  • Strong understanding of funding mechanisms related to Learning Support.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team.
