This employee-owned multidisciplinary practice offers a range of services including Architecture, Building Surveying, and Project Management. With a strong reputation for delivering creative and technically robust design solutions across sectors such as residential, healthcare, education, commercial, and leisure, they now seek an Architectural Technologist to strengthen their Lichfield team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work on the production of detailed technical drawing packages
- Prepare design presentation materials such as boards and layouts
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and other relevant standards
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design documentation and issue instructions as necessary
- Carry out measured surveys of existing buildings where required
- Organise and manage drawing files efficiently, ensuring regular backups
- Develop health and safety plans in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential
- Experience in healthcare and social housing projects preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural practice
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning legislation, and CDM 2015 requirements
