A Senior Interior Designer Job is available with a design consultancy working on retail projects! This strategy driven design practice specialises in retail and hospitality projects. They are now looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their Edinburgh team and work on retail projects. The successful candidate will be working on exciting UK and international projects across all stages.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Complete project design tasks from concept to delivery
  • Attend client and site meetings (travel will be required on occasion)
  • Complete detailed working drawings and specifications
  • Create moodboards and design presentations
  • Completion of concept proposals
  • Manage workload to meet deadlines
  • Work closely with the wider project team
  • Support junior designers where required
  • Report on project progress to the Design Director

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in either Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required
  • Minimum of 5 years' UK experience working on retail projects through all stages
  • Knowledge of Vectorworks
  • Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and Enscape
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of retail strategy and customer flow
