A Senior Interior Designer Job is available with a design consultancy working on retail projects! This strategy driven design practice specialises in retail and hospitality projects. They are now looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their Edinburgh team and work on retail projects. The successful candidate will be working on exciting UK and international projects across all stages.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete project design tasks from concept to delivery
- Attend client and site meetings (travel will be required on occasion)
- Complete detailed working drawings and specifications
- Create moodboards and design presentations
- Completion of concept proposals
- Manage workload to meet deadlines
- Work closely with the wider project team
- Support junior designers where required
- Report on project progress to the Design Director
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in either Interior Design or Interior Architecture is required
- Minimum of 5 years' UK experience working on retail projects through all stages
- Knowledge of Vectorworks
- Proficiency in Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and Enscape
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of retail strategy and customer flow
