The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Role & ResponsibilitiesReport to the Heritage Consultancy Partner and provide expert heritage advice across projects in the London and South-East RegionUndertake a wide range of tasks, including conservation management plans, significance and capacity analysis, and heritage impact assessmentsConduct desk-based and archival research, as well as on-site built fabric analysisPrepare detailed, accurate, and well-written heritage reportsAct as the heritage lead on projects, liaising with clients, architects, and statutory stakeholdersPrepare fee proposals and contribute to business developmentIn time you will manage junior team members, oversee workloads, review work, and contribute to team growth and skills development.Required Skills & ExperienceA minimum of 7 years of professional experience in building conservation, archaeology, heritage planning, or a related fieldProven expertise in archival research, on-site analysis, and producing high-quality reportsStrong understanding of English heritage legislation, policy, and guidanceExperience leading projects and managing workloads for yourself and othersDemonstrated ability to prepare fee proposals and bidsMembership of professional institutions such as IHBC or CIfAExperience mentoring and managing junior staffA specialism in heritage planning or environmental sustainabilityUK driving licence is preferred but not essential.What you get back£44,000 to £56,0002 days working from home per weekFlexible working hoursGrowth within the practice, including training and developmentCity centre office25 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days with serviceLife assuranceYearly bonusPension schemePrivate medical coverCycle-to-work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care vouchersOptional healthcare cashbackEnhanced maternity and paternity pay.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
