A Recently Qualified Architect job is now available in South West London for a Part III qualified Architect with a strong interest in high-end residential design. This role will suit a recently qualified Architect with up to 2 years' post-Part III experience looking to take on project-running responsibility within a practice delivering bespoke projects across Prime London locations.

The successful candidate will join a team working on private residential projects, typically valued between £1 million and £6 million. This position offers the opportunity to work across all RIBA Stages 1-7, from concept design through to construction and completion, with direct involvement in client and contractor meetings.

This is a good opportunity for a highly creative, recently qualified Architect who enjoys technically detailed residential work, understands the expectations of high-end private clients, and is confident producing well-resolved drawing packages to a high standard.

The practice works on high-end residential projects in some of London's most established and design-led neighbourhoods, including Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster. Its portfolio focuses on private homes in Prime areas of the capital, with projects requiring careful design development, strong technical delivery, and an understanding of planning and listed building constraints.

Due to an increase in workload, the practice is looking to appoint an Architect on a permanent basis. The role will involve close collaboration with the wider team while also offering autonomy in running projects, leading meetings, and managing day-to-day design and technical responsibilities.

• Assist the team on high-end residential refurbishment projects in prime London boroughs, particularly within Kensington and Chelsea
• Work on bespoke residential projects typically valued between £1 million and £6 million
• Take responsibility for project delivery across RIBA Stages 1-7
• Produce design, technical, and construction information to a high standard
• Use AutoCAD and SketchUp on a daily basis as part of the design and delivery process
• Lead meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Coordinate project information and collaborate closely with the wider architectural team
• Demonstrate flexibility in moving between projects as workload requires
• Prepare drawings, detailing, specifications, and material information for high-end residential schemes
• Ensure all work is delivered accurately, on time, and to the required quality standards
• Support planning, listed building, and technical submission packages where required

• Part III qualified Architect with up to 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong UK project experience within the high-end residential sector
• Portfolio demonstrating work across prime London boroughs
• Proven ability to produce and present highly creative concepts and design proposals
• Experience running projects across all RIBA Stages
• Good knowledge of UK planning processes and listed building consents
• Background in traditional detailing, specifications, drawing packages, and material selection
• Ability to prepare detailed construction information for bespoke residential projects
• High level of proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Confident communicator with the ability to lead meetings and work directly with clients and contractors
• Organised and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage deadlines across multiple live projects

The salary for this recently qualified Architect job is up to £45,000, dependent on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate. The role also offers 1 day working from home each week, providing a hybrid working arrangement alongside office-based collaboration.
