Midweight Interior Designer Job in London, with a design-led interior studio delivering concept-driven luxury hospitality projects. This role offers hands-on involvement from early concept through to site delivery, with clear progression and strong creative support. This London-based interior design studio is known for producing thoughtful, well-resolved interiors with a strong narrative and material focus. Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and hospitality projects, the studio promotes a collaborative culture where designers are supported to develop into well-rounded professionals, gaining exposure to all stages of the design and delivery process through close mentorship.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across multiple projects at varying stages
  • Assist in developing concepts from feasibility through to detailed design
  • Produce design material including plans, elevations, sketches and visual studies
  • Contribute to FF&E, material and joinery design and specification
  • Support the preparation of presentation material and client-facing documents
  • Assist with design development and technical drawing packages for costing
  • Support review of contractor information including RFIs and shop drawings
  • Coordinate with external consultants, visualisers and contractors
  • Mentor junior team members and support internal task management
  • Attend design team meetings and site visits as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working across most or all stages of hospitality projects
  • Good understanding of the interior design industry and project processes
  • Strong knowledge of materials, finishes and basic building regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across more than one project
  • Confident communication skills within internal and external teams
  • Basic experience mentoring junior designers to deadlines
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with 3D modelling software
