A Senior Architect job in Manchester is now available, leading the design and delivery of key healthcare projects. Based out of a 70-strong Manchester HQ, this well-established practice is known for its work across healthcare, education, commercial, and residential sectors. With a strong pipeline of public sector work, this role will play a central part in delivering complex projects and supporting the studio’s continued growth.

You’ll join a collaborative team and take the lead on healthcare projects, acting as a project runner and engaging directly with key stakeholders, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors. This role suits Architects with strong technical skills and NHS framework experience, who want to contribute to a studio that values both high-quality delivery and a positive team culture.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of public sector projects with a focus on healthcare
  • Run projects through multiple RIBA stages, managing teams and resources
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and navigate complex project requirements
  • Produce and oversee technical packages to high standards, ensuring compliance with HTM/HBN and NHS regulations
  • Mentor junior team members and support wider business objectives

Required Skills & Experience

  • ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-Part III experience
  • Proven experience in healthcare or public sector projects
  • Technical ability to work within complex legislation such as HTM/HBN standards
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Confident in leading multidisciplinary teams and engaging with key stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
