Urban Designer job in London available to join our client's Central London office. You will be joining an award-winning team who are working across several developer-led residential projects. Founded over 40 years ago and currently employing over 60 staff, my client has found great commercial success in large-scale residential and retirement projects. They currently employ an award-winning team of urban designers, architects, technologists, graphic designers, and sustainability consultants, and their awards include the "Housing Design Award" and "Design Quality Award".
Role & Responsibilities
- Working on a variety of masterplans, urban design projects, outline applications, and design codes
- Preparing and overseeing supporting drawings
- Supporting and managing small to medium sized projects
- Playing a key role in delivering large strategic masterplans
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of UK-based experience working in an architectural or urban design practice on residential and mixed-use schemes
- A postgraduate (Master's) degree in urban design, ideally with a background in architecture; other backgrounds will be considered based on portfolio and experience
- A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent creative design and graphic skills
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and have experience working on UK-based projects
