Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential-led projects, with residential accounting for approximately 70–80% of the workload
- Deliver projects from inception through to completion, ensuring time, cost and quality objectives are met
- Act as Employer’s Agent under JCT Design & Build contracts
- Administer a range of JCT contracts including Traditional and Design & Build
- Manage projects typically valued between £1m and £30m
- Provide effective contract administration, risk management and commercial oversight
- Work collaboratively with clients, consultants and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Support developer clients with informed advice on procurement routes and project strategy
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side project management role
- Strong track record delivering residential projects, including houses and apartments
- Proven experience managing projects valued between £1m and £30m
- In-depth knowledge of JCT contracts and Employer’s Agent duties
- Excellent contract administration and risk management capability
- MRICS or MCIOB qualification desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with confidence
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
