Senior team members also support productivity, mentoring, design quality and professional development across the wider project team.Role & ResponsibilitiesManage the design team through project conception, development, documentation and completion across all project phasesDevelop creative project vision alongside Directors and Associates and communicate clear design directionGuide design research and continually elevate the quality of creative, technical and presentation outputProvide experienced design and technical direction while coordinating closely with the FF&E teamLead coordination with clients, operators, consultants and contractors to maintain high standards throughout project deliveryOversee presentations, drawing packages, specifications, schedules and all required design and construction documentationDelegate appropriate work, mentor team members and support efficient delivery against programme, contract and budget requirementsProvide project information regarding resources, fees, time, budgets and potential schedule amendments to relevant team membersSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum eight years of experience across design and design project management within relevant high-end hospitality projectsStrong knowledge of interior architecture, interior design, furniture design and product design across complex project environmentsExcellent eye for colour, materials, composition and form with strong free-hand sketching skillsStrong technical and construction knowledge combined with confident managerial, presentation and communication abilitiesHigh level AutoCAD capability with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office applicationsGood working knowledge of SketchUp with Revit, Enscape, 3D Studio Max and Rhino is advantageousAble to work effectively under pressure, meet timelines and support wider project teams throughout deliverySalary & BenefitsSalary: 55,000 – 60,0001 year fixed-term contractStart date October 202621 days annual leave + bank holidaysHybrid working after probation, subject to project requirementsFixed-term Senior Project Designer position supporting design and project management responsibilitiesWho Is This Role Ideal For?This role suits a senior designer with at least eight years of relevant design and project management experience.
