Role & Responsibilities
- Manage full cost consultancy services across pre-contract and post-contract project stages.
- Lead cost planning, cost control, and procurement activities for large-scale developments.
- Supervise junior team members and support their development within the consultancy.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial analysis to support project performance.
- Manage contract preparation, negotiation, and administration across project lifecycle.
- Engage with supply chain partners to support effective procurement and delivery strategies.
- Undertake site valuations and manage contractor payments throughout project progress.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure high standards of service delivery are achieved.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum six years experience as a Cost Consultant or Quantity Surveyor in the UK.
- Proven experience delivering hospitality projects such as hotels within commercial environments.
- Strong ability to lead commercial management from feasibility through to final accounts.
- Excellent knowledge of cost planning, procurement, and post contract cost control processes.
- Experience working with private sector clients across large scale development projects.
- MRICS or MCIOB qualified with relevant professional accreditation.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
