Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full range of building surveying duties across professional services and project management assignments.
  • Undertake site surveys including schedules of condition, defect diagnosis, and condition reporting.
  • Prepare detailed tender documentation for refurbishment and alteration works across multiple sectors.
  • Manage projects using JCT Intermediate and Design and Build contracts from inception to completion.
  • Produce clear and concise technical reports based on site inspections and survey findings.
  • Carry out dilapidations, party wall matters, and feasibility assessments for client projects.
  • Support planned maintenance strategies through asset surveys and expenditure planning reports.
  • Undertake fire risk assessments with training provided to develop competency in this area.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum five years experience within a building surveying consultancy environment.
  • Professional membership such as MRICS or MCIOB or equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong client facing skills with ability to manage relationships across private and public sectors.
  • Experience delivering refurbishment or remedial project management across multiple building types.
  • Proven background in professional services including surveys, defect diagnosis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration processes within construction projects.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Interest or experience in fire risk assessments with willingness to undertake further training.

Salary & Benefits
